This is a rock I’ve been working on for a customer!
They had a few specific ideas that they wanted, including combining Picasso faces and Paul Klee’s artwork as well as the Picasso Blue Period for the colour scheme and the male wearing an AFL jersey.
The green, blue hues were great colours to work with, I tried mimicking the same colours in Picasso’s Blue Period into my piece.
We communicated back and forth with ideas and finalised an idea that I hand painted onto a rock.
This request was something very different that I was excited to create and I’m happy with the way it turned out.
It’s currently on it’s way to it’s forever home and I’m interested to see how they display this piece!
